Brief
- Working closely with the school’s Chartered Surveyor, IGLOOS was asked to create a solution for renovating four staff washroom areas
- Existing rooms required building work to reshape for their new intended use
- Existing loos to be ripped out, plastering of walls where necessary, new ceilings and lighting system to include PIR sensors to be installed
- Ceilings lowered to allow for floor to ceiling cubicles
- Conversion of one stock room to male and female loos
- Installation of one cleaners sink area
Specification
- Bespoke WC cubicles: 2450 floor to ceiling height with independent light and emergency battery back-up and ventilation points
- Cubicle pilasters and partitions designed to sit into polished aluminium floor channels
- Moisture resistant melamine faced chipboard (MFC) panels for cubicles
- Floor to ceiling IgPS access panelling system with electronic infra-red flush buttons
- Corian® vanity units with undermounted basins and contemporary infra-red taps
- Altro XpressLayTM Vinyl Safety Flooring capped an coved
- Suspended ceiling with grid and integral lighting lowered to 2450mm to accommodate floor to ceiling cubicles
